Selamat Hari Kemerdekaan! See the winners from this year's Independence Day Poster Competition

VILTA was delighted to receive 65 entries from 17 schools across Victoria for this year’s Hari Kemerdekaan Poster Competition. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, with students demonstrating creativity, enthusiasm and a strong appreciation for Indonesian language and culture.

This year’s theme, ‘Indonesia Raya’, invited students to celebrate Indonesia’s national identity, rich cultural heritage and diversity.

We would like to congratulate all students who participated and extend our sincere thanks to the teachers who encouraged and supported their students throughout the competition. We were incredibly impressed by the quality and creativity of the entries and are pleased to announce this year’s winners below, who were also invited to attend KJRI Melbourne's Flag-Raising Ceremony on the 17th of August as their prize.
