Synopsis:
KELUARGA CEMARA
After his house and all of his treasure are confiscated by the debt collector - thanks to his brother-in-law's debt - Abah is very determined to withstand all of this by staying temporarily in his childhood house in a remote village in West Java, inherited from his father. When he loses his case in court, his family are threatened to live in poverty forever. Abah had to get used to his new economy's status along with his little family, Emak, Euis and Ara.
Euis, the firstborn, who is stepping into an adolescent; going to experience her first period and her first love. She is also very urban. She is a modern dancer, smartphone user and speaks fluent English. But when she moves to the village, none of her schoolmates is fluent English speakers. The youngest, Cemara/Ara who is the high-spirited child. They also have to face problems inside their own family which slowly shake the family's principle: "the most valuable treasure is family."
